FAQs

  • Yes. We can provide telehealth services to patients located in VA and TN. In person appointments are sometimes required for certain services.

  • Our providers currently see ages 12 and older.

  • Therapy is integrated into our treatment approach. We often provide supportive therapy during medication visits and will happily collaborate with outside therapists if you already have one.

  • Please bring a photo ID, insurance card, a list of current medications, and any past psychiatric or medical records you’d like us to review.

  • Start by filling out our online intake form. Once reviewed, we’ll reach out to help schedule your first appointment.

  • Your first appointment is a 60–75 minute psychiatric evaluation where we’ll review your history, symptoms, and goals. Together we’ll design a treatment plan that makes sense for you.

  • Follow-ups are usually 30–45 minutes, depending on your needs and treatment plan.

  • Anywhere from weekly to every 6 months. Most patients are seen every 2-6 weeks, but it really depends on what you have going on. Visits may be more frequent when changing or starting new treatments.

  • Please notify us as soon as possible. We will work with you if you work with us. Repeated cancellations made without adequate notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.

  • We are not an emergency service. If you are having a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department. For mental health crises, you may also call 988.
