NeuroBloom was created to be a space where both patients and providers could feel safe, valued, and supported. That intention shapes everything: from how we schedule appointments to how we communicate with you.
Our mission is to do this differently — to slow down, ask better questions, and design care around what truly matters. We challenge outdated models, embrace new tools responsibly, and build care that evolves with our patients.
We want to lead a quiet revolution in mental health — one that values quality over volume, curiosity over certainty, and people over performance.
What you won’t find here:
Clock-watching appointments that feel rushed
Providers who talk at you instead of with you
Judgment about how long healing is taking
A one-size-fits-all treatment plan
Pressure to be someone you're not
Our Team
NeuroBloom is a small team of psychiatric nurse practitioners and support staff who genuinely care about the work we do and the people we meet.
We’ve left space for each team member to share what feels right to them. Some of us prefer a formal intro, and others might share a favorite quote or something personal. However we show up here, you can trust we’ll show up fully for you in session.
Carmen
Who I am: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
How do I work with patients? Collaboratively. My patients typically know my thought process with treatment decisions and we make choices together.
What will you never hear me say? I promise this treatment will make everything better.
Dogs or cats? All of the above.
Weirdest hobby: Accidental hobby of breeding fish. P.S. If you need a pet fish - come see me.
Something I probably talk about too much: Animals. Mine, yours, ones I wish I had, behind the scenes at the zoo, the only good veterinarian shows.
My unofficial life motto: Be silly. Be honest. Be kind.
Early bird or night owl? Either/both.
Coffee or tea? Former Level 5 Coffee Snob, now tea lattes.
A weird skill I have: Writing backwards in cursive.

Who I am: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
What I do: I help people untangle their mental health, the symptoms, the patterns, and the in-between spaces that don’t always have a label.
How I work: I give honest answers without false promises, look for patterns in symptoms that seem disconnected, and build plans that fit real life.
What’s your biggest strength and weakness? Listening deeply and connecting the dots… but sometimes forgetting what time it is in the process.
What makes me keep doing this? Seeing people feel understood for the first time in years.
My unofficial life motto: If you hate yourself - take a shower. If you hate everyone else - eat. If you think everyone hates you - take a nap.
Preferred superpower: Teleportation, and I would still probably be late.
A guilty pleasure I’m not really guilty about: Dr. Pepper.
Random thing that makes me happy: That one of my dogs has to have a ‘toy’ to cuddle with every night, which might be anything from a PlayStation controller to a piece of mail.
Robby
Who I am: I am a registered nurse who has worked inpatient mental health for multiple years.

Pineapple on pizza — yes or no? Yes, every time.
My go-to coffee/tea order: Seasonal cold brew.
